Konjac sponges

Priming your skin to receive

Nature's elegant design shines through with this multi-talented sponge, effortlessly delivering far more than its simplicity suggests.

These natural and plant-based sponges are made primarily from the Konjac root found in East Asia. Highly prized in Japan and now available to you.

The Konjac's natural fibres swell with water to create a jelly-like sponge that gently lifts away dirt and dead skin cells to reveal more radiant skin. The softness of the sponge is counter-intuitive to its effectiveness. While other exfoliators can be harsh and irritating on your skin, the konjac sponge is soothing and softens your skin the first time you use it. Use it on its own for delicate skin or a cleanser for a deeper wash.

Allowing our products to penetrate further requires having the skin's surface clean and exfoliated. Now you're primed to receive the best from our serums.

The sponges come in varieties for your face or body, depending on your individual needs.

Enjoy.

Only once you have used a Konjac sponge do you truly understand its magic

How to use

  • Soak the sponge in a bowl of warm water to soften and expand (5-10 Minutes). Then under warm running water, squeeze the sponge between 2 flattened hands (this minimises damage to the sponge's delicate fibres) to remove excess water. Repeat this a few times. I like to use a cleanser during this process to make sure the sponge is extra clean before use. - Now, it is ready to go.

  • Once the sponge has been rehydrated, use a gentle circular motion to massage the sponge over your face (or body). For a deeper clean, I like to use it in conjunction with a cleanser – but this is not essential – everyone's skin is unique.

Once finished, always rinse your sponge well. Squeeze out excess water between your hands in a slow clapping method. Squeezing out excess water and allowing it to hang in a well-ventilated area to dry.

Remember always stop using if skin irritation occurs.

I hope you love using this sponge as much as I do.

  • I sit the sponge in HOT water for 5 minutes to clean and disinfect, and I replace my sponge every 2-3 months.
